It’s an interesting coincidence that disgraced Senator Robert Menendez just hired the same really high priced lawyer who’s working for Hunter Biden. The one that wrote the “diabolically” sweet plea deal which almost got Hunter off the hook completely. It still might. Abbe Lowell continues to insist that the gun deal was signed in blood and prevents any further charges for anything. He might be right.
Menendez lawyers up hard
Senator Robert Menendez is so confidant that his new lawyer, Abbe Lowell, will get him off the hook on bribery charges that he’s insisting he’s going to run again. Despite the howls for him to resign.
It’s probably going to cost him at least one of those kilo weight gold bars he had stashed in his closet. On Friday, September 22, the controversial senator signed a letter of representation with Lowell “as news of his legal jeopardy captivated Washington.”
This wouldn’t be the first time Lowell represented Menendez. He “had previously hired Lowell to represent him in a 2015 case where he was accused of accepting illegal gifts.” Even though he swears up and down that he’s as innocent as a virgin, the senator “has already stepped down ‘temporarily’ from his position as head of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee.”

He’s looking at “charges alleging that he and his wife, from at least 2018 through 2022, ‘engaged in a corrupt relationship‘ with three New Jersey businessmen.” Along with the Egyptian military.
U.S. Attorney Damian Williams was proud to announce that his office “has obtained a three-count indictment.” He’s charging the senator along with “his wife, Nadine Menendez, and three New Jersey businessmen, Wael Hana, Jose Uribe and Fred Daibes, for bribery offenses.”
He’s convinced he can prove to a jury that the senator accepted “hundreds of thousands of dollars of bribes in exchange for using Menendez’s power and influence as a senator to seek to protect and enrich Hana, Uribe and Daibes and to benefit the Arab Republic of Egypt.”
Democrats demand he resign
Overlooking the fact that they’re all tripping over themselves not to notice the Biden family bribery, prominent Democrats, including Senator John Fetterman and Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, have called on the accused to resign. AOC was quick to throw him under the bus on Sunday.
“The situation is quite unfortunate, but I do believe that it is in the best interest for Senator Menendez to resign in this moment. As you mentioned, consistency matters. It shouldn’t matter whether it’s a Republican or a Democrat.” It only matters if you’re a Biden or not.
Some are saying that the senator’s real crime was neglect. He neglected to grease the proper palm. The Deep State would have covered it all up for him as long as he paid his split. Menendez and his wife allegedly committed “wide-ranging abuses of power” to “help New Jersey business executives in exchange for cash and gifts totaling hundreds of thousands of dollars.”

Some of the alleged bribe money paid for the senator to press “the Biden administration to nominate a U.S. attorney in New Jersey who he thought would be sympathetic to his real estate developer friend who was facing federal fraud charges.”
The indictment also lays out exactly how Menendez “pimped” his wife out to Egyptian military officials. After he “allegedly took meetings” with the generals, his wife landed “a ‘low-or-no-show’ job with an Egyptian-American businessman.” Everyone has their price. According to the indictment, the senator’s was low and easy terms could be arranged.
He was happy to accept anything of value. “Cash, gold, payments toward a home mortgage, compensation for a low-or-no-show job, a luxury vehicle, and other things of value.” His high priced fixer has already advised him to claim that the kilos of gold were the savings he “liberated” from his motherland of Cuba. That’s why Lowell gets the big bucks.
