We had just reported on the frustration of the House Oversight Committee not being able to get records on Biden’s classified documents.
Well, now we know why they are not getting them.
Merrick Garland’s DOJ has put up a roadblock.
Denied
Along with the Oversight Committee, the House Judiciary Committee has also been doing some digging.
The committee has just been informed by the DOJ that information will not be coming its way anytime soon.
Assistant Attorney General Carlos Uriarte told Judiciary Chair Jim Jordan (R-OH), “Longstanding Department policy prevents us from confirming or denying the existence of pending investigations in response to congressional requests or providing non-public information about our investigations.”
Yet, unless I am mistaken, even though multiple investigations are going on into Trump, the only way Democrat-run committees did not get information is if it was blocked in court.
In fact, the entire alphabet soup has is not going to be sharing information with the GOP committees.
Not only that, but there will be nobody to come and sit in the hot seat, either.
Uriarte continued, “As a matter of longstanding policy and practice, the Department refrains from making line agents and line attorneys available for congressional testimony or interviews.”
Can you say deep state coverup?
