The Alice Police Department is asking for help from the public in locating the driver of a vehicle who attempted to lure a young boy into their car.
The incident occurred in Alice, Texas, which is in the southern part of the state, located in Jim Wells County.
Video of the attempted kidnapping was captured on a front door camera.
From the video, the police observed a light blue compact SUV pulling up to the front of the house, which thankfully had a metal fence between the street and the yard, with a gate.
The driver then opened the car door and talked to the boy, who was outside in the yard, telling him to get into the vehicle.
If you have any information or recognize the car, call the Alice police at (361) 664-0186.
