Joe Biden has made some rather stunning gaffes since taking office.
This one, however, is going to be hard for him to live down.
It should also be front and center in the argument that Biden is simply no longer mentally fit to hold office.
Put That Hand Down
Biden was hosting Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi this week.
The two were discussing conditions of migrant workers and relations between India and China.
As is tradition, the guest nation’s national anthem was played before the event along with our National Anthem.
The problem for Biden was that he put his hand to his heart a bit early.
Biden raised his hand over his heart when “Hail of the Chief,” the Indian National Anthem, started to play.
The song was about 15 seconds in before Biden realized, or, more likely, someone signaled him to move his hand away from his heart, because it was not our anthem…
I am not sure how much more the American people need to see from this man to realize he is no longer fit to sit behind the Resolute Desk.
The problem, of course, is that first up on the list is Kamala Harris, who could quite possibly be the only politician in the country that is deemed to be more of a failure than Joe Biden.
