I know a lot of law enforcement that have seen the Tyre Nichols video.
Not a single one of them has said that Nichols got what he deserved.
The consensus was that once they had him under control, it should have stopped, period.
Police are supposed to be better than that, and they were not.
That video and the subsequent death of Nichols led to a call to Nichols’ family before the video was released to the public.
One in a Million
If you had to guess, how many arrests would you say happen every day in this country?
Would you be surprised to find out that there are more than 30,000 every single day?
Of all those arrests, how often does something like this come up, but they get a call from Joe Biden.
Honestly, that call would not be a problem if Joe Biden bothered to pick up the phone at least once when a police officer died in the line of duty.
Heck, that does not even get a tweet, but Georgy Floyd, Tyre Nichols, Biden will part water to reach out to these people.
I am just saying… imagine being a police officer in this country and seeing this happen.
And people wonder why police morale is so low in this country.
