As the joint session of Congress met to certify the Electoral College vote, a large protest was raging outside of the capitol. While the two chambers were meeting separately to debate an objection to the vote, the feed was suddenly cut and Congress was evacuated from the chambers.
Soon after, news outlets began reporting that shots had been fired.

The situation is unclear at the moment, some are claiming that a Civil War or a Revolution are in progress, though that has not been confirmed.
