Every company in the United States has their own little house rules that they like to play by, and to be honest that’s the thing that makes up the culture of most corporations.
I mean, there are some places where you don’t have to wear a suit and tie to work, and some places where you will get thrown out of a window if you don’t come in dressed like you’re about to give a campaign speech.
Some places also have pretty interesting hiring practices. For example, I have a friend who works for a small chain of grocery stores where the owner of the company won’t hire male cashiers.
It’s the strangest thing, but it’s his business so there isn’t a whole heck of a lot that people can do about it.
Then we have this DEI nonsense, where if you have five spots that you have for people in the company you have to hire a certain percentage of minorities even if there is someone better for the job that just happens to be white.
Tractor Supply is one of those companies that had to do this for a while. The bean counters in their corporate headquarters launched a DEI initiative a couple of years ago and to say it didn’t work out would be an understatement.
They began to phase out the DEI initiative and boy did the liberal alphabet people organizations come out in full force against them.
It seems like every liberal organization that exists is now trying to boycott Tractor Supply and it makes absolutely no sense.
Sometimes plans just don’t work out, sometimes they aren’t a good fit.
It’s like when Burger King has a special sandwich that they are selling and then they stop selling it.
These lib groups getting mad at Tractor Supply is like someone yelling at the guy at the counter at Burger King because they don’t sell their sandwich anymore.
Tractor Supply is a good honest organization. They saw something that didn’t work, and they got rid of it.
I mean, isn’t that something we all do every day to begin with?
