Congressional Watchdog Goes For Throat of Election Interfering Prosecutor

One conservative watchdog in Congress isn’t afraid to call the election interference out for what it is. Fulton County, Georgia’s, District Attorney Fani Willis can’t hide behind an illusion of law-enforcement authority with Jim Jordan around. The chairman of the House Judiciary Committee ripped Willis a new one for her “hostile response” to his polite request “to turn over documents related to her prosecution of former President Trump.” Conservatives call it more of a “persecution.

Blatant election meddling

Deplorable supporters of Donald Trump are going to continue following the “president in exile” no matter what the election results say. The harder the Deep State fights against him, the more right-leaning Americans want their “rightful” president in office.

All the criminal charges filed against him are seen as nothing but fear of America’s only competent leader. What really scares the Democrat swamp dwellers is the obvious fact he’s out to do them in.

In a letter dated September 27, Jim Jordan informed Fulton County’s DA that her response to his official request only “reinforces the Committee’s concern that your prosecutorial conduct is geared more toward advancing a political cause and your own notoriety than toward promoting the fair and just administration of the law.

The committee has a duty to oversee election integrity and investigate potential abuses. “Congress in general, and this Committee in particular, have a strong legislative interest in ensuring that popularly elected local prosecutors do not misuse their law-enforcement authority to target federal officials for political reasons.

The attempt by Willis and her cronies to rig the upcoming 2024 election isn’t going to fly. “We can only conclude from your hostile response to the Committee’s oversight that you are actively and aggressively engaged in such a scheme.

She wasn’t the only one to get a similar letter. “Jordan has sent letters to each of the prosecutorial entities investigating Trump.

Fork over the records

Since August, Jordan has been waiting for Willis to “turn over all records related to her work on the 2020 election interference case.” She’s interfering in this one by alleging Trump interfered in that one, simply by questioning the integrity of the questionable results. Congress has a clear duty to get to the bottom of all of it.

Jordan also has a suspicion that she’s been passing information along to “evil master” Jack Smith. He’s the federal witchsmeller of a special persecutor out to burn Donald Trump at the federal level stake, to keep him from winning again.

Jordan is dying to know if “she had communicated with special counsel Jack Smith, who has also brought charges against Trump over his efforts to remain in power after losing the 2020 election.

You’re not allowed to question the results at the national level either. Willis dared to get indignant and fired off a nasty response to Jordan’s August request. He answered each of her points and slapped her down hard on each.

The assertion that a law-enforcement entity may prevent Congress from conducting oversight related to an ongoing investigation ‘rests on no constitutional privilege or case law authority but rather on opinions issued by the Justice Department,” Jordan replied.

There is ample legal and historical precedent contradicting this position — that is, congressional committees conducting oversight of matters that are the subjects of ongoing investigations.” He wants the answers and wants them now. There’s an election coming up fast. Nobody wants the integrity to be questioned again.
