Back in February, when vaccine mandate protest efforts involving convoys of diesel trucks were disjointed and still on the drawing board, everyone zoomed in on Ottawa. Canada’s Freedom Convoy sparked a global movement, that’s for certain. It’s also the main reason People’s Convoy hired professional help.
Ottawa disrupted everything
Ottawa grabbed attention and headlines when the Canadian truckers occupied the seat of government. They intentionally disrupted everything and annoyed everyone. The idea being that the squeaky wheel gets the grease. They eventually were greased out of existence when Justin Trudeau pulled out heavy duty emergency powers.
Word on the street is that those standing up for freedom in Australia and New Zealand, right now, are being hit even harder.
Canada caught the Deep State by surprise but here in America they have been countering the truckers since around 2013. Organizers of People’s Convoy are well aware of that. While Joe Biden is terrified of an Ottawa style occupation, We the People aren’t real anxious for a repeat of January 6, either.
The last thing patriotic Americans working real hard to restore the constitutional rule of law and bring back good old American freedom want is to be labeled barbarian insurrectionists. Undercover efforts have already been seen in Hagerstown, Maryland as any chance to prod the convoy into rash action is exploited to maximum effect.
People’s Convoy co-organizer Brian Brase gave a press conference at their base camp on Wednesday, March 23 and touched on that topic. Organizers are hearing a lot of chatter on the ground of the “talk is cheap and its time for action” variety. Brase admits that the effort takes time and money and acknowledges they’re “burning through it” but insists it’s “not a waste.”
We the People are “here and not going anywhere.” In Ottawa, they camped at the door and didn’t get government out of their offices. Not a single meeting. At least the unified American effort has achieved some productive sit downs with high ranking senators and lawmakers.

Ammunition against them
While compared to the furious action in Ottawa, People’s Convoy may appear to be spinning their wheels – driving in circles around the beltway, that’s an oversimplification. Anyone who’s been following the big picture knows they’re fulfilling the vision of Patriot Earl Conlon. He’s the one who, in the spirit of Paul Revere, cried “the truckers are coming” back during the Obama madness.
Conlon told U.S. News and World Report that patriotic truckers were going to circle the beltway three lanes deep and start arresting congressmen for failing to uphold their oaths of office. It didn’t happen. It came close a couple times since then. This is the closest yet. They may not be running three lanes deep but they achieved two and they haven’t gone home.
In Canada, blocking the Capitol was exactly the ammunition government used against the protesters. Today, the residents of D.C. know exactly what’s going on, no matter what they’re saying or not about it on the alleged news. When D.C. Metro police shut down all the freeway exits they declared, “we’re afraid of Ottawa.”
Brase and his group fully understand that to be effective over the long-haul they need to be diplomatic. That’s why it is time for “pressure at the state level.” The main convoy will stay right there for a while and give folks at home something to point at for guidance and moral support. If you really want freedom, now is the time to stand up for it at your own capitol. Bring your flags and your friends and remind your elected officials they “work for us.”
The number one thing to keep in mind is do everything peacefully and legally. The Deep State will use January 6 and Ottawa against us every step of the way no matter where we’re at in the country. Over and over again. Brase wants to get his team working on “a how to packet.”
One that explains how to file for permits and other helpful guidelines. He stresses groups should contact law enforcement to let them in on your plans, because it’s important to stay peaceful and law abiding at all times.
