The parents of the Louisville mass shooter just spoke up.
I have to say, their statement did not exactly shock me.
What was disturbing, however, is that we see a repeated pattern that hints this shooting could have been avoided.
Mental Issues
Connor Sturgeon’s parents stated, “While Connor, like many of his contemporaries, had mental health challenges which we, as a family, were actively addressing, there were never any warning signs or indications he was capable of this shocking act.
“While we have many unanswered questions, we will continue to cooperate fully with law enforcement officials and do all we can to aid everyone in understanding why and how this happened.”
Sturgeon had only gotten his weapon a few days earlier.
He had reportedly talked to people about his mental health issues.
And, while I have not been able to verify the report yet, I just read a report he had told friends or posted something about the attack.
How are these people that are so screwed up in the head able to get a gun in their hands?
As I have stated many times, if we ever came close to enforcing the laws on the books, this nonsense would not be happening, but Democrats just want to put more laws on the books solely so they can say they did something about gun violence.
You want to start doing something about gun violence, look at this never-ending theme of mental illness that gets revealed in every one of them.
