It is becoming pretty clear that the new class of Democrats is not very fond of Hillary Clinton.
During a recent caucus stuffed with Bernie Sanders surrogates and supporters, Rep. Rashisa Tlaib (D-MI), a member of the Squad, openly booed Hillary Clinton, bringing about both praise and criticism.
Sticking Up for Bernie
Bernie Sanders supporters are a pretty unique group of individuals.
They are faux patriots who veil their disgust and anger with our country as a new form of patriotism.
Sanders has energized this group, offering freebies for everyone while literally putting up plans on his agenda that would destroy any incentive to work hard and be successful in this country.
Virtually every platform stance of Sanders would force our Framers and Founders to regurgitate their last meal.
Hillary Clinton was recently very critical of Sanders, saying that nobody likes him and that he has accomplished absolutely nothing during his decades-long career as both a mayor and Senator.
During the caucus, the moderator brought up the Hillary incident.
As soon as Hilary’s name was mentioned, the crowd started to boo, but they were reined in by the moderator, stating, “We’re not going to boo.”
Tlaib immediately jumped in, agreeing with the crowd that Hillary needed to be booed.
She stated, “No, no, I’ll boo. You all know I can’t be quiet. No, we’re going to boo.
“That’s alright. The haters will shut up on Monday when we win.”
After the video went viral, Hillary’s camp immediately pushed back.
Clinton’s official spokesperson, Nick Merrill, stated, “Can’t imagine this kind of behavior is something Iowans want to see from candidates and their surrogates.
“I don’t imagine the vast majority of voters in Congresswoman Tlaib’s district, which Secretary Clinton won by over 60 points in 2016, want to see this either.”
Bernie’s campaign co-chair, Rep. Ro Khanna (D-CA), stated, “…We should acknowledge and respect the work of Secretary Clinton in expanding health insurance to children, in standing up for women’s rights as human rights, and in helping achieve a breakthrough nuclear deal with Iran.
“We will bring progressive change through addition, not subtraction.”
Pressure must have been put on Tlaib, because she issued a rare apology afterward, stating, “In this instance, I allowed my disappointment with Secretary Clinton’s latest comments about Senator Sanders and his supporters get the best of me.
“You all, my sisters-in-service on stage, and our movement deserve better.”
So, once again, Hillary gets away with saying something controversial and everyone is held accountable EXCEPT Hillary.
Or, maybe everyone is just afraid of getting whacked by the Clinton mafia.
