ICYMI – If you don’t pay your taxes, it looks like the IRS will kill you. They posted an online job ad, then ripped it right back down when people noticed what the position required. The palace treasury needs to get their hand on every penny they can grab, so they put it back up again, unchanged.
IRS out for blood
The Infernal Revenue Service is hiring “Criminal Investigation Special Agents” and the official IRS job description notes a “key requirement” for applicants is that they have to be “legally allowed to carry a firearm.”
The job’s “major duties” include: “Carry a firearm and be willing to use deadly force, if necessary.” Don’t bother signing up unless you’re “willing and able to participate in arrests, execution of search warrants, and other dangerous assignments.”
As soon as critics noted the requirement of a thirst for blood, there was a whole bunch of “heated criticism online.” After consideration, they decided to put the ad back up and stop apologizing.

“The IRS Criminal Investigation special agent job announcement continues to be open on USAJobs and has not/was not taken down. USAJobs is where these positions are posted and where applicants are referred to in order to apply,” an revenue spokesunit clarified.
The IRS had previously announced that they’ll be expanding under the “Inflation Reduction Act.” They just got an $80 billion boost over the next ten years.
More than half of that is “intended to help the agency crack down on tax evasion.” Apparently the new policy is pay now or we start shooting. $40 billion will buy an awful lot of bullets.
Nearly 100,000 armed revenuers
Dark Brandon plans to hire a whole lot of armed killers. “If passed, the money would go toward filling 87,000 IRS positions, more than doubling the agency’s current size,” Fox Business reports.
It already cleared the big hurdle in the Senate, thanks to Kamala Harris casting the tie-breaking vote. The House will rubber stamp it and Joe signs anything they stick on his desk. If all goes well, it will land on his desk.
Democrats in the Senate are totally convinced they can squeeze an extra $124 billion “enhancement” to federal IRS funding over the next ten years at the point of a gun.
All they have to do is “crack down on rich individuals and corporations attempting to evade taxes.” If you don’t cough up when you get the notice, they send an armed enforcer around to rob it from you.
Republicans already tried to warn that this proposal would “fund an army of IRS agents to crack down on small business owners and lower-income workers.” They had no idea that army would be fully armed and ready for action.
Americans, Fox notes, “who earn less than $75,000 per year are slated to receive 60% of the additional tax audits expected under the Democrats’ spending package.” You can expect your auditor to be packing heavy heat when they arrive to get a squint at your checkbook.
