If you are an NFL fan, prepare to be shattered.
One of the true legends of the game is now on his death bed and in hospice care.
Len Dawson, the Hall of Fame QB for the Kansas City Chiefs, 87, will be leaving us soon.
Inspiring
Dawson led the Chiefs to their first Super Bowl win over the doomed Minnesota Vikings.
The Vikings, at the time, were one of the most dominant teams in the league.
They lost four consecutive Super Bowls, one of them to the Chiefs and Dawson.
Dawson would also notch the MVP in that game.
When he stepped away, he went to the booth, where he was also one of the best in his craft.
Over the course of his career, he had three 11-win seasons, two of them with the Chiefs.
We will miss you when you are gone, Len.
