A Republican representative is in hot water and has quit the race to continue his run in the House of Representatives.
GOP Member Quits Race
Van Taylor has been a disgrace to the GOP after it was discovered he had an affair. But this was not an ordinary extra-marital affair because he began a relationship with a woman who was part of ISIS.
The shameful representative represented part of Texas and has been against President Donald Trump and his supporters. A five-way primary was held and Taylor actually got a staggering 49% of the vote.
Scandalous Affair Comes to Light
But because his complicated affair was discovered, he dropped out of the race to continue his reign in the US House of Representatives.
Taylor decided to address his supporters with an email to try and explain the decision.
“About a year ago, I made a horrible mistake that has caused deep hurt and pain among those I love most in this world,” Taylor wrote.”I had an affair, it was wrong, and it was the greatest failure of my life. I want to apologize for the pain I have caused with my indiscretion, most of all to my wife Anne and our three daughters.”
Allegedly the politician gave his mistress $5,000 to keep her quiet. Tania Joya is the woman in the middle of the ordeal and she has strong ties to the Islamic State.
Ties to ISIS
She was a jihadist who used to be married to a savage ISIS commander and the media has often referred to her as the “ISIS Bride.”
The mistress isn’t taking any responsibility for the adulterous situation.
“People can call me a homewrecker but, you know what, f–k that because adultery is something in society that happens,” she said.
Joya thought that the Republican would get married one day but she eventually got mad at him. She then went to Taylor’s wife and told her about the affair.
Taylor quite the House race but his shady decisions continue to make waves in the media.
