The lack of respect we see for our police continues.
Three more officers have been shot in the line of duty.
Thankfully, all three are expected to survive.
Under Fire
Democrats have been working against police on two key issues: no-knock warrants and early morning warrants.
So, now police are losing the element of surprise, which appears to have been the case in Kansas City.
Officers were serving a warrant around 9:30 p.m. on one Tuesday, coming under fire as soon as they entered the home.
All three officers were shot, at which point a standoff between local police and the suspect got underway.
Kansas City Police Chief Stacey Graves stated, “That’s the best situation under these circumstances that I could hope for.
“That our officers are alert, they’re awake and they’re talking.”
Both local SWAT and FBI SWAT were called in, eventually securing the home on Wednesday evening.
A man was found dead inside the home and police apprehended a female shooter.
It was unclear if the man died during the initial shootout or if he was killed by the woman inside the home.
