A heartbreaking story came out of Arkansas.
Lee County deputies discovered the body of a 6-year-old boy buried under the hallway of his mother’s home.
The boy had clearly been abused.

According to police, the boy may been there for months.
The Arkansas Department of Public Safety stated, “Based on initial findings, it’s believed the boy died from injuries sustained in the home, possibly three months ago.
“The state medical examiner will determine the manner and cause of death.”
There was also a 6-year-old girl found in the home, also appearing to have been abused.
The children’s mother Ashley Roland, 28, and Nathan Bridges, 33, were both arrested by State Police.
They have been charged with capital murder, abuse of a corpse, tampering with physical evidence and endangering the welfare of a minor.
The grandmother of the children has been fighting for custody of them for more than a year.
She finally was given visitation rights and when she came to pick up the children, she was told the girl could not walk and the boy was at a friend’s home.
The grandmother saw the girl and immediately took her to the hospital.
Fox News reported, “The child’s hair had been chopped off, she was malnourished, had cracked ribs, and had several burns on her body in various stages of healing.”
The grandmother was told later in the day by police that they had found the boy’s body.
