It’s clear to everyone that the media hates President Donald Trump. Making America “great” is something they’re totally uncomfortable with. Focusing on national security by plugging Pentagon leaks isn’t a topic they can write about because that makes the Commander-in-Chief look good. Instead, they drag out a dead horse they’re familiar with beating. Just so they can beat it some more.
Media at it again
Once again, Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth is the target of media scrutiny. He has a bad habit of letting un-vetted participants into his group chats on Signal. Nothing top secret has been revealed.
The first time the scandal erupted, it was because a liberal reporter had been granted access. Simply because he had the same initials as someone important.
The lamestream media was astonished at the barbaric tone of comments revealed as U.S. bombers dropped explosive death on Yemen. That was the worst of it and the whole thing almost blew over, once everyone realized there was nothing there of a scandalous nature.
Even so, the outlet which broke the first controversy quietly set an ambush and waited to pounce again.
On Monday, April 21, White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt set the media straight. President Trump “absolutely has confidence” in Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth. “I spoke to him about it this morning, and he stands strongly behind him.”
Get a grip and go report about something that matters. Like what new scheme the Biden family is up to.
Wife, brother and lawyer
The New York Times jumped out from behind a bush to yell “gotcha!” late Sunday night. Secretary Hegseth, they reveal, “shared sensitive information about planned strikes in Yemen in a private chat on the Signal app that included his wife, his brother and his personal lawyer.”
The biased media outlet had to go out of their way to say this is a new incident simply to keep their few readers to stop scrolling past.
Over at the Pentagon, spokesperson Sean Parnell had a statement for the press, whether they like it or not. “Another day, another old story—back from the dead. The Trump-hating media continues to be obsessed with destroying anyone committed to President Trump’s agenda.”
The real reason they keep dredging it up is because they’re miffed all their best sources have been fired, pending criminal investigation.
Since the hack from the Atlantic wasn’t in this chat thread, The Times had to get creative. “This time, the New York Times — and all other Fake News that repeat their garbage — are enthusiastically taking the grievances of disgruntled former employees as the sole sources for their article.”
The media, Parnell continues, “relied only on the words of people who were fired this week and appear to have a motive to sabotage the Secretary and the President’s agenda.“
