Texas Governor Greg Abbott has one simple question that none of the Democrats jumping down his throat can answer. Why isn’t anyone blaming Joe Biden and his insane open border immigration policies? Migrants are great, liberals say, until they end up in their own back yard. Fentanyl, meth and other contraband are pouring across the border along with the invading immigrants, yet the guy allegedly in charge of Homeland Security doesn’t see any national security problems with that. Something is seriously wrong.
Wake up Abbott declares
Eric Adams and Muriel Bowser need to “wake the Biden administration up,” Texas Governor Greg Abbott insists. Their “willful ignorance” of the obvious border security crisis isn’t working. He took out a page in Fox News to explain exactly why he plans to keep shipping busloads of invaders “to progressive East Coast cities.”
As soon as Democrats get a tiny taste of the problem they created, they freak out in panic. The only reason they’re so angry with him is because they know he’s totally right. His “bold plan highlights the strain President Biden’s open border policy has on border towns — and the naivety of Democrat-run liberal cities to this reality.”
“If the mayors of America’s most populous city and the nation’s capital are complaining about a few thousand migrants,” Abbott points out, “imagine what these small border communities with more limited resources face on the front-lines.”
At least, the Governor admits that the mayors see what we as a nation are really faced with. “The New York City and D.C. mayors’ recent interest in this relentless crisis is a welcome departure from willful ignorance the Biden administration continues to demonstrate.”
Joe Biden sticks his head in the sand, gathers his entire family including Hunter Biden for a little pleasure trip on Air Force One to a private island paradise.
One far away from FBI agents who would never even dare to dream about raiding Hunter’s home for evidence of influence peddling crimes involving China, Russia, Ukraine and who knows who else? Abbott is on top of it and that’s what really scares progressives.
Stop dismissing the crisis
Abbott could barely contain his anger. “As Mayors Adams and Bowser recently acknowledged, the border crisis demands immediate and decisive federal action. I ask that they call on President Biden to stop dismissing this crisis and to honor his duty of preserving America’s national security.”
Bowser called for help from the National Guard and they said no. When she heard what the Texas governor had to say in his op ed, she asked for the National Guard again. They say they’ll get back to her.
Just before the Biden crime family split for the beach, the Remain in Mexico policy ended. The palace assures everyone that won’t affect the flow of migrants much. “The order did not deter migration,” they admit. “Regardless of the federal government’s indifference, a dangerous situation continues to intensify.”
Abbott noted how “fentanyl is now the leading cause of death for Americans ages 18 to 45, but President Biden allows it to continue pouring across the border from Mexico.” Alejandro Mayorkas doesn’t mind. He recently testified that “the southern border is ‘safe and secure.‘ As thousands of illegal immigrants cross the border each day, that statement is either shockingly uninformed or intentionally deceptive.”
“Too frequently,” Abbott reminds, “we’ve witnessed the horrifying consequences of human smuggling and trafficking, yet Mexican cartels and other transnational criminals are emboldened to carry on with their deadly enterprises.”
Meanwhile, the globalists in charge make it worse. “President Biden has never visited the border to understand the magnitude of the crisis he created. His ‘Border Czar’ Vice President* [*unconfirmed] Kamala Harris has similarly taken no meaningful actions to address the gravity of the situation, except one visit to the El Paso sector over a year ago.“
