ICYMI – In what is one of the most bizarre weeks I have ever seen, two different local Republicans were murdered.
The cases are not connected, but the murders have turned the entire country on its head.
The second murder was another local councilman in New Jersey, Russell Heller.
What Is Going On?
Eunice Dwumfour was shot dead in her car.
When she was found slumped over the wheel, she had been shot in the head and the car had multiple bullet holes in it.
Heller was found in a similar position, discovered in the parking lot of his workplace, PSE&G.
Police were immediately able to identify his killer, who had taken his own life.
Only hours after Heller’s body was discovered, they found Gary Curtis, 58, a former employee, dead by his own hand.
Rep. Tom Kean (R-N.J.) stated, “Russell was an outstanding public servant who proudly represented the river town he loved.”
Milford Mayor Henri Schepens stated, “The Milford Borough Council is deeply saddened by the loss and our hearts go out to his family.”
The motive for the murder is still under investigation.
