The overall state of the nation continues to deteriorate under the occupation of the Democrat-Socialist Biden-Harris regime. As the zombie-like administration clings to illusions of legitimacy the catastrophies the American people face continue to stack up. Reports show the economy is in shambles, inflation is spiking, employment is collapsing and the crisis at our Southern border is out of control.
According to The Daily Wire,
“Joe Biden received further negative news Wednesday about the economic environment in the U.S. under his leadership as newly released numbers show that the economy is overheating and inflation is growing at an even higher rate than anticipated.”
Let’s take this by the numbers, nice and slow.
New Reports: Inflation Is Skyrocketing
Inflation through the month of April accelerate to the fastest clip seen in more than a dozen years as the economic recovery from Government imposed COVID19 lockdowns led to spikes in energy prices. CNBC reports.
“The Consumer Price Index, which measures a basket of goods as well as energy and housing costs, rose 4.2% from a year ago, compared to the Dow Jones estimate for a 3.6% increase. The monthly gain was 0.8%, against the expected 0.2%.”
“Energy prices overall jumped 25% from a year earlier, including a 49.6% increase for gasoline and 37.3% for fuel oil.” (And that was before the Colonial Pipeline attack)
“Lumber prices alone have risen 124% in 2021 amid persistent demand for building materials. Copper, often seen as a proxy for economic activity, has jumped nearly 36%.”
“Used car and truck prices, which are seen as a key inflation indicator, surged 21%, including a 10% increase in April alone. Shelter, another key CPI component, was up 2.1% year over year and 0.4% for the month.”
In short, the average American family is definitely feeling the pain as more and more of their monthly income is dedicated to merely feeding themselves. As Tim Pool has reported, historically speaking once a population must devote 40% of their income to food a violent uprising becomes inevitable. Between 2016 and 2021 that percentage has jumped from 6.4% to 9.5% conservatively, several regional food shortages have also been reported.
Tim Pool wrote,
“Fear of Runaway Inflation As Local News Reports Food Shortages, Gas Shortage In Some States Near 50%. While many blame the colonial pipeline cyber attack for the gas shortages stories going back weeks have warned about them. But its not only gas, many local news outlets warned of food shortages and skyrocketing prices as fears of runaway inflation hits.”
Employment Has Imploded with Millions Of Jobs Unfilled
The regime is sending America hurtling toward a fully Socialist state as more and more young workers eschew employment for more lucrative unemployment benefits being doled out by Congress under Majority Leader Schumer and Speaker Pelosi. The April jobs report showed a mere 266,000 jobs were added, far, far less than the rosy prediction of 700,000 and why? Because the plebs have figured out that they can get paid for not working in the world of Democratic-Socialism.
Ben Popken of NBC reports that even with over 9 million unemployed there are “millions of jobs currently available even as nearly 17 million people are still collecting some form of unemployment.” Popken cites “low vaccination rates”, which is quite possible given that only 23.1% of Americans (76,681,252 people) have taken the vaccination, with many hesitant to do so, unwilling to take the jab on faith in a government they no longer trust. The propaganda here is pretty transparent as if to say ‘get the shot or it won’t get better’.
Popken further cites a ZipRecruiter study which shows a “supermajority” of job-seekers are seeking to work remotely now even after the pandemic ends, leaving jobs that cannot be worked remotely on the table. He further notes that since Democrats extended COVID19 unemployment benefits to September, many employers are having a hard time competing with unemployment benefits outweighing wages.
The Crisis At The Border Continues
With each day that passes under the Biden-Harris regime leads to yet another tragedy on the border. According to the Customs and Border Patrol CBP Search and Rescue efforts have spiked year over year as have overall enforcement actions.
