Connecticut Democrat Governor Ned Lamont just gave business owners some bad news. Obey my orders or pay up. More lockdowns and bigger fines are coming. These Governors are out of control. It’s time to fight back!
Democrats destroy the economy
“15 days to slow the spread.” Remember that slogan? That was back in March. Here we are eight months later and Americans are still dealing with draconian lockdowns and travel restrictions.
Blue states are cracking down harder than Red states, as expected. Democrats solve most problems by growing Government and this pandemic is no different. We’ve seen businesses closed, mask mandates enforced, social distancing rules and curfews. When will it end?
California Governor Gavin Newsom announced another curfew for his state. The Democrat Governor just flew back home after spending the week at a luxury resort in Maui Hawaii where he was wined and dined by his corporate donors. Living the dream.
Meanwhile, the citizens of his state are struggling to survive. In July, he ordered businesses to be closed in the state but he kept his own Plump Jack Winery open to the public. Newsom also faced criticism when he sent his children to a high-end private school while public schools in his county remained closed.
The new month-long curfew will force all businesses to close at 10 p.m. In Los Angeles County, officials have announced that all restaurants, bars and wineries will be closed for the month. Take out services will be allowed but no in-person dining. Freedom loving patriots in California are hitting the streets to protest.

On the other side of the country, Connecticut Governor Ned Lamont is getting in on the tyrannical action. He imposed strict lockdowns on certain types of businesses in the state.
The penalty for breaking his rules was a $500 fine. That fine just went up to a staggering $10,000 per violation. “The sector rules and capacity limits we’ve implemented are intended to mitigate the spread of this disease to the greatest extent possible,” Governor Ned Lamont said in a statement Tuesday evening.
“While the overwhelming majority of businesses in Connecticut have shown an incredible amount of leadership and have been fantastic partners in this front, we have seen a small number of businesses in flagrant violation of these public health rules, and that’s all you need to cause a super-spreading event that leads to a large number of cases and hospitalizations.”
Covid-19 lockdowns continue
Millions of Americans are out of work and struggling to feed their families. Depression and anxiety rates have tripled this year. Children are out of school and missing their friends. Is it all worth it? Covid-19 is a virus with a 99.7% survival rate.
Most people who test positive report having mild flu-like symptoms or nothing at all. Still, Democrat Governors think it’s wise to destroy the livelihoods of millions of people. Governor Ned Lamont’s list of fines include $500 for organizing an event over capacity limits, $250 for attending over-capacity events, $100 for not wearing a face mask in public and up to $500 for violations of the state’s travel advisory.
Current rules require restaurants and bars to close at 10 p.m. and that customers can only purchase alcohol with a food order. Please, show us the science that says you can only catch Covid-19 after 10 p.m. and that ordering food with your beer will help slow the spread.
It’s absolute madness. We are witnessing an unprecedented power grab by Democrats and if the Biden administration gets into the White House it will only get worse.
