Dodgers Ignored Bud Light Backlash to Infuriate Catholics

Dodgers

The Los Angeles Dodgers are trying their best to dodge the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence controversy but they’re about to learn who buys more tickets, Catholics or gender bending freaks waving rainbow flags. They apparently didn’t get the memo from Anheuser-Busch. Bud Light used to be America’s best selling beer. Today, they can’t give it away.

Dodgers Stadium protest

When the big Dodgers “Pride Night” ceremony rolled around on June 16, thousands of demonstrators “jammed up” the stadium’s main entrance to protest the featured group of trans queers dressed as nuns.

Sponsored by Catholics for Catholics, a “massive crowd” peacefully disrupted “the scheduled pre-game ceremony celebrating the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence.” Disgraced Department of Energy official and serial luggage thief Sam Brinton is a member. He calls himself Sister Ray Dee O’Active.

Well prepared with signs proclaiming “Bud Light the Dodgers” and “Stop Anti Catholic Hate,” the mass of protesters “took over the entire block on Vin Scully Avenue.” They kept chanting: “Save our Children.

Meanwhile, the “local chapter of the Sisters, whose members dress up in drag in traditional Catholic nun habits, are being presented with the Dodgers’ Community Hero Award.” It appears what they do is “lifesaving work” worthy of a trophy on “the teams’ 10th annual Pride Night.

They may be heroes to the Dodgers but conservatives who don’t like their children being groomed with psychological birth control propaganda call the freaks a “blatantly perverted, sexual, and disgusting anti-Catholic hate group.

Conservative baseball fans won’t be bringing their families to these games for a while. Meanwhile, the transgender types don’t have families. They can’t have kids on their own so they want yours.

Storm brewing for weeks

Friday’s demonstrations didn’t come as a surprise to anyone. The drama has been raging for weeks. After initial backlash to the announcement they would be featuring the especially obnoxious hate group, they canceled the show.

Counter-backlash from the transgenders made them reconsider and go ahead with the controversial award ceremony. When they announced it was back on again in May, Catholics “blasted the group as blasphemous.” The Dodgers can burn in hell along with the Sisters, they declared.

Even some of the players were offended by the ceremony. “Dodgers ace and Cy Young winner Clayton Kershaw voiced his frustration” with the decision by management.

I don’t agree with making fun of other people’s religions. It has nothing to do with anything other than that. I just don’t think that, no matter what religion you are, you should make fun of somebody else’s religion. So that’s something that I definitely don’t agree with.

The Dodgers PR staff apparently weren’t bothered by the controversial drag queens portraying themselves as “nuns.” They mockingly sport “names like Sister T’aint A Virgin, Sister Porn Again and Sister Holly Lewya to protect their identities.” They’ve been around since 1979 in San Francisco but nobody noticed them until the psychological birth control advocates started targeting elementary age children.

That’s why the big chant outside the stadium was “save our children.” As Brian Burch relates, the “vile and diabolical actions” of this particular “hate group” being honored “go far beyond parody or satire – they are blasphemous and deeply offensive to Christians everywhere.
