Democrats are surprised to learn that House Speaker Kevin McCarthy backs the efforts to impeach Attorney General Merrick Garland. Everyone in America, even ones who vote Democrat, can see that the system is broken. It may favor progressives today but liberals are coming to the sudden realization that when Donald Trump gets back, the tables will be turned against them.
Garland must go
Joe Biden won’t fire Merrick Garland because he’s the one keeping Joe and a whole slew of his family members out of prison. Republicans are all screaming for the Attorney General’s head on a plate, politically. There are enough DINOs running around that the votes for that can be found.
That startles RINOs because Democrats favoring impeachment of Joe and his cabinet members will make moderate Republicans fighting the move look bad enough to not get reelected.
The Hill reports that Republicans “are debating whether to focus impeachment efforts on Attorney General Merrick Garland after Speaker Kevin McCarthy suggested an inquiry against him.”

RINOs are shaken because they thought the California lawmaker was one of them at heart. McCarthy can read the writing on the wall. He likes his speaker job and wants to hold on to it for a long time to come.
Anyone but Garland, they scream. He really runs this country. The Hill notes that McCarthy’s backing is “taking some members by surprise after much of the GOP impeachment furor had been directed at other Biden officials.”
Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas and Joe Biden were at the top of the list. The Deep State was counting on Kevin to be “the voice urging the conference to move patiently and deliberately.”
If the IRS whistleblowers are telling the truth, Merrick Garland has committed multiple felonies.

What’s the crime?
The problem with impeaching Merrick Garland is the fact he really runs this country. In order to impeach him, he needs to be charged with a crime. The AG made it crystal clear long ago that anything he or the FBI does is totally legal, always. RINO California lawmaker Darrell Issa already went on record with the objection, “I don’t know of a chargeable crime.”
It’s up to Joe Biden to fire the Attorney General. He can do that if the AG isn’t “following orders or properly carrying out their job.” In this case, his job is covering up the crimes of Joe Biden. That’s also what he would be charged with. That’s not a crime, that’s his job. Joe won’t fire him and we can’t impeach him. That’s the story and RINO Republicans are sticking with it.
At the same time, even the Democrats in disguise can see that the rabble who don’t understand the nuance of the law are about to pick up their pitchforks and torches. “It’s very, very popular with people in the hinterlands,” Issa admitted, Members of the Freedom Caucus are going rabid about it.

“But the reality is that if someone is faithfully executing the desires and the orders of the president of the United States, then they’re within the bounds of what Cabinet officers do.” Don’t you get it? Merrick Garland REALLY DOES run this country.
McCarthy isn’t letting the gloom and doom of his compromised colleagues distract him from the mission.
“When a prosecutor shields his boss’s son from investigators, it smells like a cover-up. Garland’s DOJ did not aggressively follow the money. Why? Are they afraid where that trail ends?” Garland has to go. “Clearly, someone is not telling the truth, and Congress has a duty to get answers.“
