It would seem that “No Malarky” has given way to “the price is right” in the Biden-Harris regime. As the septuagenarian nearly eighty figure head flip-flops with impressive speed (if not precision) from scorning Israel and supporting Palestinians and back again… if they bring cash. News has come out much to the far-leftists in Congress’ feigned distress that Biden is pushing ahead with a $735 million arms sale to the Israeli Government.
Ooof, that’s got to sting a bit for Reps. Ilhan Omar, Ayanna Pressley and Rashida Tlaib, they’ll have a hard time covering that one in Deer Park, MI, especially Tlaib… being a Palestinian.
The Hypocrisy is STAGGERING– ‘No Malarky’ Seems Alot Like No Accountability
The New York Post reported “The Squad’s” ‘serious’ objections May 13th,
“A gaggle of far-left Democrats — including members of the so-called “Squad” — paraded onto the House floor Thursday night to deliver a series of rhetorical broadsides against Israel, with some linking the Jewish state’s latest conflict with Hamas to issues like racism and illegal immigration in the US.
“As a black woman in America, I am no stranger to police brutality and state-sanctioned violence,” said Rep. Ayanna Pressley (D-Mass.). “We have been criminalized for the very way we show up in the world … Palestinians are being told the same thing as black folks in America: There is no acceptable form of resistance.”
While we hate to interrupt, we should point out that BLM protestors haven’t sent any rocket barrages into American cities…. YET. So even if Pressley’s mischaracterization of “police brutality” and “state-sanctioned violence” had any merit (and they don’t) you can’t draw a line from Black Americans to Hamas Terrorists.
Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-Minn.) condemned Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu as “a far-right ethno-nationalist” on the House floor and asked: “How can we pay lip service to a Palestinian state, yet do absolutely nothing to make that state a reality while the Israeli government we fund tries to make it impossible?”
“Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D-Mich.), the first Palestinian American woman elected to Congress, told her colleagues that “Palestinians aren’t going anywhere, no matter how much more money you send to Israel’s apartheid government” before rounding on the Biden administration over its response to the conflict.
Apparently, the Congresswomen of “The Squad” and the far-leftist Democrats have a really serious short term memory problems, they don’t seem to recall not objecting to providing the Israelis munitions a month ago. The very same Democrats who have a serious problem with the American people owning weapons and aim to disarm our entire population. But if the Israelis or the Saudis or any other nation that they would otherwise scream about shows them the money?
According to Reuters,
“Congress was informed of the planned sale in April, as part of the normal informal review process before of the formal notification on May 5. Under U.S. law, the formal notification opens up a 15-day window for Congress to object to the sale, which is not expected despite the ongoing violence.
The sale of Joint Direct Attack Munitions, or JDAMs, made by Boeing Co (BA.N), was considered routine at the time, before the start last week of the fiercest hostilities in the region in years.
There were no objections at the time by the Democratic and Republican leaders of the congressional foreign affairs committees that review such sales, aides said.”
No objections, none, zero. Until their narrative required it. Because after all, the price was right. No malarky indeed.
