New York is not only a sanctuary state for illegal immigrants, but it is now also apparently a sanctuary for criminals.
On Wednesday, a New York court allowed six suspected drug dealers accused of operating a $7 million fentanyl distribution operation to go free without bail.
This Can’t Be Happening
Enough cannot be said about the horrific drug problem in this country.
While we hammer our government to be harder against drug dealers, Democrats are putting them back onto the streets.
The new criminal justice law in New York is clearly a mistake, as numerous criminals have already walked out of court only to commit more crimes.
Another group was set free and even liberals are shaking their heads over this one.
Fentanyl is widely regarding as one of the worst opioids available and a major contributing factor to the crisis in our country, yet the six individuals arrested for running the distribution ring were allowed to walk out of court without even having to pay bail.
For some reason, running a seven-figure drug operation is not considered a violent crime, so no bail is required.
Business as Usual
The six men arrested are Livo Valdez, Jaslin Baldera, Frederick Baldera, Frandi Ledema, Diego Tejada and Parfraimy Antonio.
All six were taken into custody on Monday via a New York Drug Enforcement Task Force.
According to the New York Post, they were running the operation out of a Bronx apartment on Sedgwick Avenue.
While they were not required to post bail, the judge did order them to surrender their passports.
Several of the men are believed to have ties to the Dominican Republic, so it would not exactly be a surprise to see them miss their next court date at the end of February.
Their attorneys argued that these men had no priors, but that clearly should have been offset by the magnitude of the operation.
So, when these men get their shop set back up or just leave the country, Governor Cuomo and Mayor de Blasio will have quite a bit of explaining to do to the people of their city and state.
Liberal America, patriots, where illegal immigrants and criminals are above the law, but the law-abiding citizen is treated like a second-class citizen by the very people elected to office to represent them.
