Turncoat Murkowski Goes on CNN to Trash Own Party

Murkowski

Appearing on Jake Tapper’s State of the Union on CNN alongside Senator Joe Manchin (D-WV), Senator Lisa Murkowski (‘R’-AK) made it abundantly clear that it is far more important for her to simply “get something done” in Congress than it is to hold the line against the authoritarian steam-roller that is the Democrat-Socialist agenda of the Biden-Harris regime. Now there is bipartisanship which can be lauded, but then there is directly sabotaging your own party when it is fighting in a no-holds-barred struggle for its very existence. In this, Murkowski has once again reaffirmed that she lacks the necessary moral conviction and courage that these times require.

Murkowski Turning On GOP & Voters: ‘I want to get something done’

Tapper asked Murkowski about her tweet in response to the censure of Reps. Liz Cheney and Adam Kinzinger and the RNC’s rebuke of them for “the persecution of ordinary citizens engaged in legitimate discourse”, which referred to those protestors caught up in the Capitol riot and speakers at the Save America Rally who committed no crimes and have been targeted by the partisan witch hunt. Murkowski in the tweet had carried forward the Democrat-Socialist narrative to a tee, betraying her party, her Alaskan Republican constituents and every political prisoner in a cell in DC.

“What happened on January 6, 2021 was an effort to overturn a lawful election resulting in violence and destruction at the Capitol. We must not legitimize those actions which resulted in loss of life and we must learn from that horrible event so history does not repeat itself.

As Americans we must acknowledge those tragic events, and we cannot allow a false narrative to be created. We cannot deny the truth—to suggest it was “legitimate political discourse” is just wrong.”

Tapper asked her, if it was “uncomfortable” for her to go against her party. Most Republicans would argue… it isn’t nearly uncomfortable enough.

“During this part, period, yes. Um. But it can be uncomfortable. Um. It can be uncomfortable when, when you say, I’m not going to align myself neatly with what the party is saying just because the party is saying. You’ve got to be comfortable enough in who you are and who you represent and why you’re here.” She began.

Who Does She Think Elected Her?

“I mean, I’m not here to be the representative of the Republican party, I’m here to be the representative for Alaskan people. And I take that charge very, very seriously. So when there’s a conflict when the party is.. is.. is.. taking an approach or saying things that I think are just absolutely wrong, I think it’s my responsibility as an Alaskan Senator speaking out for Alaskans to just speak the truth. And I think that that’s hard. Because we seek protection in our lanes over to the right and over to the left. And that gives you company. But is that really why people sent you here. Is that really what they want? I don’t think people in Alaska want that, I don’t think people in West Virginia expect that.”

Wasn’t she elected by the Republicans of Alaska, to be a…. (Ruffles papers… checks notes…) Republican?

“And so yeah, it’s harder. It is harder. The easier thing to do is just go along to get along. Or just keep your mouth shut. But you know what? That’s not why we’re here. We’re here to do some hard things. And sometimes the hard things are to say ‘I want to get something done’ rather than just follow the messaging from our respective parties. Let’s try to get something done!”

And there it is. She just wants to get ‘something’ done. The problem is in Chuck Schumer’s domain, you only ‘get done’ what he wants you to, and Lisa has forgotten that. Right now the GOP has one job in the Senate just the same as every Republican in the House… show up and vote ‘Nay’ repeat et. Infinitum until you’re in the majority and can start to roll back the damage these radicals are doing. Kelly Tshibaka who is opposing her in the Primary cannot possibly get into office FAST ENOUGH.

While Murkowski was getting chummy with Democrats on CNN, Tshibaka was on the road with the #FreedomConvoy… the choice here is kind of obvious.
