Whoa…Senator Tom Cotton Blows the Lid on Biden’s Pick for Dept. Homeland Security

Republican Senator Tom Cotton from Arkansas is ripping into Joe Biden’s pick to head the Department of Homeland Security. Cotton says that Alejandro Mayorkas sold citizenships to Chinese nationals, therefore he should be disqualified from the position.

Tom Cotton puts America First

Joe Biden just announced his pick for DHS chief as Alejandro Mayorkas. Mayorkas is an immigrant himself who was born in Havana Cuba.

He came to California as an infant and went on to become the top federal prosecutor in Los Angeles. He later served as a deputy secretary of the Department of Homeland Security during the Obama administration.

Mayorkas has been confirmed by the Senate three times throughout his career and will be the first Latino and the first immigrant to serve as chief of the DHS.

Senator Tom Cotton is not impressed. He slammed Mayorkas for selling out America to Chinese nationals. Cotton appeared on a recent Fox Business News interview to make his case. “Alejandro Mayorkas was found by Barack Obama’s Inspector General to be guilty of selling Green Cards to Chinese nationals on behalf of rich, democratic donors. He is disqualified from leading the Department of Homeland Security.”

Biden packs the swamp

Barack Obama hired Mayorkas in 2013 to serve as DHS deputy secretary after he had overseen Citizenship and Immigration Services from 2009 to 2013.

In 2015, Mayorkas testified before the House Homeland Security Committee over an inspector general report that he had pushed some Chinese nationals with ties to top Democratic lawmakers through the EB-5 visa program.

Complaints from U.S. Customs and Immigration Services staff first led to the probe into Mayorkas’ handling of the visa program.

The United States EB-5 visa is a program for eligible immigrants who invest at least $900,000 USD to finance a business in the United States that will employ at least 10 American workers.

The EB-5 program is intended to encourage both foreign investments and economic growth. Mayorkas put out a statement after the inspector general report came out saying he disagreed with the findings, and he had improved the program through “hands-on” administration.

It seems Mayorkas was playing favorites with applicants. Donate to the right Democrat politicians and you might just get your application fast tracked. Corrupt as hell. He’ll fit right in with the Biden administration. Thankfully there are patriots like Tom Cotton speaking out.
