New York residents are walking away from the plantation of crime that Democrat politicians have been keeping them on. During the controversial House Judiciary Committee hearing on Tuesday, Madeline Brame gave such fierce testimony that Adam Schiff’s eyes were bugging out. “I’m fully aware of what’s going on here, OK? That’s why I walked away from the plantation of the Democratic Party.”
Crime victims pushed aside
When the House Judiciary Committee held a controversial field hearing in Manhattan on April 18, the focus was crime in the city. Madeline Brame was invited to testify based on her role as chair of the Victims Rights Reform Council. She got that job because she’s also the “mother of a murdered veteran.”
She was not at all satisfied with the treatment she got from the prosecutor’s office under the direction of DA Alvin Bragg. Her anger at Bragg has nothing to do with the way he’s trying to railroad President Donald Trump.
Brame’s son Hason Correa was brutally stabbed to death in 2018. Two of his attackers are properly doing life in prison, the other two basically walked away with slaps on the wrist due to liberal prosecution policies.

Violent crime is totally out of control in New York and she’s convinced that liberals are allowing the lawlessness on purpose. At the hearing she “accused politicians of ignoring her and other victims as critics blame Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg for being too lenient on the city’s most violent criminals.”
“I’ve been so ostracized,” Brame told Fox in a follow up interview. “I’ve been so shunned and ignored by these people that are in power for all these years. Not just me, but all the victims.”
The crime is out of control whether city officials admit it or not. “I’m angry – not just for the way me and my family and my grandchildren were treated and my son, but for all the hundreds and thousands of others.”
Goldman slapped down
Things got heated between Ms. Brame and New York Democrat Dan Goldman. He used his time to climb on a soapbox and declare “Republicans held the hearing in order to ‘cover up’ for Donald Trump.” The last thing democrats want to talk about is violent crime.
Ms. Brame wasn’t going to sit there and take the abuse. Goldman started it by proclaiming “the purpose of this hearing is to cover up for what they know to be an inappropriate investigation.” One by Republicans into Alvin Bragg. Brame politely asked to respond to that. “Not right now,” she was told. She didn’t listen.
“Don’t insult my intelligence. You’re trying to insult me like I’m not aware of what’s going on here. I’m fully aware of what’s going on here, OK? That’s why I walked away from the plantation of the Democratic Party.” She was there to talk about crime and why Bragg won’t put any of the hard core criminals away in prison where they belong.

She wasn’t about to play along with their game of disinformation. “The Democratic Party has done nothing but help our community self-decimate from the inside out, and that’s what it’s doing. It’s rotting from the inside out.”
Later, she told Fox, “That comes from being a 40-year loyal Democrat, voting Democrat since I’m 18 years old because that’s what Black people do, is vote Democrat.” They’re starting to wonder why.
